About 4iD

Vision

To identify firms' technological barriers and empower individuals to overcome them, enabling teams to devote more attention to designing our built environment.

Mission

We believe that by fostering a healthy digital practice environment through the optimization of firm standards, empowerment of staff, and efficient project data management, we can achieve an ideal design.

Story

In 2016, Susy Mikhail was working as an architect at a large architecture firm, while Samuel Mikhail was in BIM consultancy. From their different vantage points in the field, they identified the need for a more nimble and sustainable model of BIM consultancy. Together, they founded 4iD, and along with it, the tools to tailor their service to the needs of each firm and benchmark the evolving proficiency of trainees. Today, 4iD has provided transformational solutions to more than 60 firms and counting.

We start with a firm-wide assessment that ensures you are getting standards that work for all of your stakeholders, and a system that solves the specific inefficiencies of your digital practice.

Customization does not equal additional cost. A customized engagement conserves resources and increases ROI.

Our system of benchmarking helps us meet your employees where they are and incrementally raise their levels of proficiency in Revit and related software.

We’re more than BIM consultants. We’re Digital Practice Architects who help you design and refine a digital practice for the long term, as the technology improves and your staff turns over.

We’re seasoned software instructors with a growth mindset. The transfer of knowledge is our core value. We want you to gain independence.
